The Art of It
My favorite thing to photograph is the bride and groom locking eyes for the first time at the ceremony. That electrifying moment is full with passion, adoration and effortless beauty, which inspires me as an artist. The subject in that sublime moment is the magnetic energy between them.

Each couple has their own particular magic. It is my great pleasure to recognize that palpable essence and depict in images what words can only approach. My goal is to reveal the exquisiteness of bringing love from a private experience to a public declaration. I am grateful for every opportunity to document the most romantic day in a love story.

Shooting Style: Photojournalistic & Traditional
Allan's shooting style during the ceremony and reception is unobtrusive and photojournalistic, so he captures the magic and pure joy of the day as it naturally unfolds — without his intervention or interference. To efficiently guide the wedding party and family through the portraiture session, Allan switches gears and directs the action to capture the posed shots. During planning discussions with Allan, he learns your unique style and focuses on the portraits that are important to you and your family.

Photographer & Assistant: Comprehensive coverage from 2nd photographer
Allan will be the photographer photographing your day. His assistant shoots as 2nd photographer during the pre-ceremony & ceremony, then assists Allan with lighting & posing during the portraits and equipment needs during portraits and equipment needs during the reception. Additional photographers and staff are available for hire for larger weddings.

All Day Coverage: No Overtime Charges
Allan will be the photographer photographing your day. His assistant shoots as 2nd photographer during the pre-ceremony & ceremony, then assists Allan with equipment, lighting & posing during the portraits and resumes shooting during the reception. Additional photographers and staff are available for hire for larger weddings.

Proofing: 4x6 prints of all frames shot
The proofs you receive are yours to keep. They are 4x6 prints, printed on real photographic paper and are not stamped "Proof" File numbers are located on back of the print and would be how you identify to Allan the frame you are selecting for enlargement or album.

Full Resolution Digital Files: Digital Negatives are available
Full resolution digital files on DVD are available for purchase (if not included in the package you select) for an additional cost. Allan shoots RAW files because it is the finest quality digital format in which to shoot. Specialized software and knowledge is required to manipulate these RAW files. Allan is prepared to furnish RAW files, however most clients should receive files in the TIFF or JPEG format.

Reprints or Extra Enlargements: Priced affordably
The standard package was designed to give the couple many enlargements to have and distribute to family and friends. Extra prints are priced very affordably to ensure that every couple has the prints they want. Allan takes pride in his photo enhancement and print-making, producing the finest quality portrait and display art.

Creating different looks: Color, Black & White or Sepia
Since all pictures are shot digitally, color is easily converted to Black & White or Sepia. Some shots look especially good in Black & White because it isolates and emphasizes the expressions of the subjects. After reviewing your proofs, you might find a picture you would like converted to Black & White for your album or enlargements. All enlargements and album prints are custom printed, there is no extra charge for retouching, converting to Black & White or Sepia or other special effects.
